Activities make any space to come alive! They add action, colour & vigour to the space as well as also enhance social interactions which is rare in today’s busy & stressful lives. Delhi Development Authority has been instrumental in promoting Delhi city to emerge as place of dynamism by organizing such activities in their green areas, Horticulture Department bears the responsibility of organizing different social and cultural activities and programme to boost the interest of public as well as for DDA officers & officials through various means i.e., Plantation drives, Swacchta Pakhwada, Competitions of DDA parks, flower shows, etc.

One such activity titled “Baghban” was organised in Swarn Jayanti park, Rohini wherein many activities & workshops were held. This allowed people to come together & get engaged in group learning activities. The visitors also got to interact with DDA Officials. As the involvement of people was quite satisfying, the event set a platform for planning many more such activities in the landmark greens of DDA in the years to come. Public participation in the events is what DDA strives for & the team will be working towards the achievement of the same.
