Personnel department is responsible for managing all matters related to personnel, establishment, administration, transfer &posting, recruitment, training, employees’ welfare and other matters related to employees.
Functions
Personnel Branch I is responsible for administration of all Group ‘A’ cadres and Group ‘B’ cadres in Gazetted Establishment.
Personnel Branch II looks after administration of all technical cadres of Group ‘B’ in Non-gazetted Establishment.
Personnel Branch III looks after administration of Ministerial, Welfare and Stenographic cadres of Group ‘C’ and Group ‘B’in Non-gazetted Establishment
Personnel Branch IV is responsible for administration of mostly Group ‘C’ cadres and some cadres of Group ‘B’ in Non-gazetted Establishment
CR Branch deals with matters of promotion in all cadres except erstwhile Group D, grant of MACP/ACP and maintenance of reports like APAR, IPR, etc.
Recruitment Cell conducts direct recruitment forposts in all cadres
Personnel Branch V deals with matters related to appointments on compassionate grounds.
Industrial Relations & & Staff Welfare (IR & SW) branch deals with matters related to staff welfare like processing of retirement/pensionary benefits, event management, tendering for canteen, etc.
Reservation Cell deals with reservation matters and issues as per GOI guidelines
Policy & Coordination Branch deals with all policy related matters and ensures coordination among Personnel Branches for various matters.
Training Department training of all officers/officials of DDA to equip them with the competencies for their current and future jobs and to meet training needs through a mix of conventional courses, distance and e- learning
