JAHAPANAH FOREST

AREA: 425 Acres

Sandwiched between Chirag Delhi, Greater Kailash (GK), Alaknanda, Hamdard Nagar, Madangir & Ambedkar Nagar in South Delhi , this is a vast sprawl of green spread over about 425 acres of land. It is a protected forest notified by forest Department, GNCTD.

The area serves as lung space between the hustle and bustle of the concrete jungle of the capital. It has numerous varieties of indigenous trees species and long walking trails for people to enjoy the nature. More than 10,000 people go for morning and evening walks in the forest area. Cycle tracks are also provided.
